A sensitive renovation of a 1970s home by renowned architect SWT Blythe, Tiff’s Place – Broadwaters balances heritage preservation with contemporary functionality. Thoughtful interventions enhance liveability while celebrating the home’s handcrafted timber interiors, subtle spatial refinements, and strong connection to the garden.

The project prioritised adaptive reuse, retaining and restoring original materials wherever possible, while improving thermal performance, natural light, and energy efficiency. A restrained palette, carefully considered finishes, and bespoke detailing elevate the interior, creating a space that feels both timeless and comfortable.

With minimal demolition and a small footprint expansion, the design demonstrates how sustainable principles — from material reuse to energy-conscious upgrades — can be integrated seamlessly into heritage settings.
